2025 marks a special milestone as I celebrate my 50th birthday, and I can't imagine celebrating it without the incredible people who've shaped my journey.

I'd love for you to join me in celebrating this over an unforgettable weekend at a secret location, filled with surprises and celebrations! 

As we are planning this, we need to know if you can make it, so send a text whether it’s a Hell Yes!, No, or Maybe.

PARTY GUIDELINES

No Little Adventurers:
This is an adults-only expedition—leave the kiddos at basecamp!

Arrive Fashionably Adventurous:
‍ We’re expecting you around 3 PM and it’s about 1 ½ hours from the nearest airport. Plan accordingly to arrive on time the 20th.

Theme Party Central:
 Two nights, two theme parties! Dressing up is required—get creative and bold!

Sporty Spice:
‍ Be prepared to break a sweat! Some sporty activities are on the agenda, so make sure you're fit and ready to join in the action!

LOGISTICS

Some of you have already started asking about logistics, and while it's still early in the planning stages, here’s what we recommend:

Fly in Friday morning: Geneva Airport is your landing zone. From there, it’s about a 1 ½ hour drive to the destination. 

Carpool, people!: Fly in together and share a ride—it’s easier, and who doesn’t love a road trip to kick things off?

Fly out Sunday evening after 7 PM. Trust us, you’ll need that extra time to make it back from our epic location.

Before we dive into our mystery weekend (quite possibly literally), we need to know a few details about you. 

Are you the kind of person who gets wobbly knees on a stepladder, or do you laugh in the face of heights? (Vertigo warriors, we're looking at you!)

On a scale of "I consider Netflix marathons an Olympic sport" to "I climb mountains for breakfast," how would you rate your fitness level?; and …

Adventure enthusiasts and party people - we're in full preparation mode for our epic June bonanza!

- Equipment drop incoming! Share your shipping address (we're GDPR compliant) for some essential expedition gear to come.

FIRST THEME PARTY ALERT:
APRES SKI

Get ready for Night One's epic theme, and no, you won't need actual skiing skills (though you might need some balance!)

What to expect: Think cozy meets crazy, French chalet meets disco fever! Break out those retro ski suits, furry boots, and anything that sparkles in the snow.

Dress Code Inspiration:
- Vintage ski gear (the more neon, the better!)
- Fluffy snowbunny realness
- Mountain chic with a party twist
- That one-piece ski suit from the 80s you've been dying to wear
- As a robot, who doesn’t love robots!

Remember: There's no such thing as too much craziness!

NIGHT TWO THEME ALERT:
THE BREAKFAST CLUB

Dear Saturday Detention Warriors...

Time to channel your inner 80s rebel as we recreate that fateful March day at Shermer High!  Pick your persona (or maybe it picks you):
- The Brain (that perfect GPA smile!)
- The Athlete (letterman jackets at the ready!)
- The Basket Case (Black everything, messy hair)
- The Princess (Signature pout optional, attitude essential)
- The Criminal (ripped jeans, fingerless gloves)

Pro tip: Raid that vintage store or your parents' closet. Think big hair, bigger attitudes, and the biggest hearts

…. And yes, we'll have library chairs ready for your dramatic confessions!
